PROGRAMS
One of the core functions of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is to connect members with training, presentations, peer support, and knowledge about excellence in fundraising by world class leaders. AFP members receive the best professional development value, and programming offers guests the opportunity to network with Triad professionals and to consider membership.
AFP Triad Programs Include:
- Monthly Meetings
- Fundraising Professionals Roundtable
- National Philanthropy Day
- State Conference
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are a great networking and educational opportunity. Each meeting features guest speakers or panels with leaders in our field. They’re addressing timely topics in fundraising and talking about how fundraisers are meeting challenges and opportunities to help their organizations succeed. Many AFP Triad monthly meetings are eligible for 1 CFRE continuing education credit. We also offer members-only workshops with regional experts bringing us in-depth perspectives on timely topics. These workshops are also CFRE continuing education-credit eligible.
We meet on the last Tuesday of each month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden in Kernersville, NC. Meetings include lunch. The fee for AFP members is $5 per meeting. Non-members may register for a fee of $30.
