Moji Coffee + More, Winston-Salem, NC
Salary range: $50,000-$55,000
Moji Coffee + More began as a dream in 2017, inspired by the amazing abilities of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the disparity in the unemployment rate for people with disabilities. Together, with a team of passionate parents, advocates, and community leaders the "coffee that gives everyone a voice” became a reality in June 2019. Ever since, Moji Coffee + More has been providing job and life skills training to individuals with differing abilities so they can find and retain meaningful employment. Soon after opening on Trade Street, a partnership with Forsyth County and the Forsyth County Central Library made it possible for a second Moji Coffee + More to open its doors.
Since 2019, we have served over 65,000 cups of coffee to our community… each cup sustaining meaningful and enriching employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
