Fundamentals of Fundraising
Due to Gov. Cooper's Phase 2 orders we are not able to gather indoors in groups larger than 10. As a result, we have made the decision to postpone our Fundamentals of Fundraising Course until 2021. More details will follow.
The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is composed of seven modules that have been designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges non-profit organizations face every day. This 16-hour intensive program, broken into two full days, will be held on June 23 and 24, 2020 at the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden Visitor Center. Each day will begin with check-in and light breakfast at 7:30 and end at 5:30pm. Lunch will be provided on both days. Day 1 will close with a reception and tour of the Botanical Garden.
The course is targeted for individuals with 0 to 4 years of fundraising experience and will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components featuring the most current information and techniques. Taught in an active learning style, the Fundamentals course includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable.
Two scholarships are available for NC Triad Chapter AFP members with up to four years of fundraising experience. Application deadline for the Fundamentals of Fundraising Scholarship is midnight on May 15, 2020. Questions? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
