Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) is a movement that centers philanthropy around social justice, aligning philanthropic efforts with organizational values. Learn more about the 10 CCF Principles and how to reshape traditional fundraising practices, placing the community we serve at the center and prioritizing transparency, equity, and trust.
This session will help attendees to:
- grasp the core concepts of Community-Centric Fundraising through a detailed review of each principle;
- articulate the significance of CCF in reshaping fundraising practices; and
- reflect on their organization’s current fundraising strategies and identify opportunities to integrate CCF principles.
Catena has over 30 years of experience as an arts administrator, working in finance, operations, and fundraising. She is currently the Executive Director of Reconsidered Goods, a creative reuse nonprofit located in Greensboro. She is also the incoming Board Chair for the City of Greensboro’s Cultural Arts Commission, an instructor for Managing and Leading in the Arts at UNCG, and on the faculty for the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium, where she facilitates monthly Community Centric Fundraising meetings.
