Marketing a non-profit is no different than marketing a for-profit organization. It requires strategic focus, audience analysis, reaching people where they are, budgeting, using the proper marketing channels the right way, measurement, etc.
In the 34 years the LinTaylor™ Marketing Group (LTMG) in Winston-Salem has been in business, they have helped countless non-profit and for-profits organizations with marketing, branding, graphic design, and web development.
LTMG's presentation will include the importance of strategic focus, marketing through traditional and online channels, the value of presenting yourself consistently in graphics and content, being purposeful in search engine optimization and when not to sweat it, and the value of Public Relations.
The presentation will feature Lin Johnson, LTMG's founder, and Chris Burcaw, who oversees the group's strategic and marketing planning and content development. They will be joined by Erin McCloskey, a Winston-Salem-based Public Relations expert who specializes in helping non-profits generate exposure in traditional and online media outlets.
