AFP – TRIAD HONORED WITH
2026 TEN STAR GOLD CHAPTER & 2026 IDEA CHAMPION
Every year, AFP, the largest association of professional fundraisers in the world, honors chapters for achieving goals that align with key objectives in its long-range strategic plan.
Chapters receive the Ten Star Gold Award for performing specific activities designed to increase professionalism within fundraising and public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.
The IDEA Champion Designation recognizes those chapters who have accomplished many of the key objectives outlined in the Promote Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access strategic pathway.
MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, AFP awards scholarships for one Professional Membership and one Young Professional Membership to a fundraiser in the Triad region who hasn’t yet experienced AFP. Applicants must be sponsored by a current AFP member and complete the annual application by the posted deadline. Please note that current members may only sponsor one scholarship applicant per year.
