Summary of the Opportunity:

Three River Land Trust operates in a fifteen-county region: Anson, Cabarrus, Davidson, Davie, Iredell, Montgomery, Randolph, Richmond, Rowan, Stanly, Moore, Hoke, Scotland, Cumberland, and Harnett. Our organization works to offer reasonable, attractive options to landowners who want to conserve their lands. Our mission is to conserve natural areas, rural landscapes, family farms, scenic rivers, and historic places within North Carolina’s central Piedmont and Sandhills.

Three Rivers Land Trust, an accredited Land Trust, is seeking an outgoing, highly organized, energetic, self-starter and outdoor enthusiast who is ready to assist with a multitude of tasks across the Land Trust.

The primary duty of this position will be to track, manage, and correspond with Land Trust members, track financial deposits/financial information, maintain employee files, assist in the onboarding of new employees, file and manage donor records, provide clerical and administrative support to the organization, and assist with the planning and execution of a variety of events.

Additional duties include but are not limited to planning, coordinating, and managing volunteers, accurately maintaining financial information/dashboards, and other duties as needed.

This position will also serve as the secretary to the Board of Directors and several other Land Trust subcommittees. This position will operate out of the Salisbury office.

A high school degree or its equivalent with 5 years of similar experience.

A current public notary and a financial background are a plus for this position.
