About the Event
There is no better time than the start of a New Year to make self-care a priority. This past year, we have all experienced a variety of losses. We have had to embrace change and demonstrate resilience. Being able to identify stress, grief and loss is important in increasing self-awareness and creating a personal self-care plan. This session will help us understand why self-care should be a priority as 2021 gets underway and how it can enhance the quality of your life personally and professionally.
Objectives:
Define stress, grief, and loss and the impact each have in the short and long term.
Describe the basics of self-care for professionals and the importance during COVID-19 and as a life-long habit.
Be able to identify, access, and utilize self-care techniques and resources.
