Gail Perry is President of Gail Perry Group, a consulting team specializing in comprehensive capital campaigns, board training and major gift coaching to create transformational fundraising results for nonprofit organizations across the county and Canada.

Since 1994, Gail Perry and her team have been celebrated for the high-level expertise, positivity, commitment and results that they bring to help organizations transform their fundraising fortunes, and realize their dreams.

Gail Perry’s Fired-Up Fundraising approach, developed over the past 30 years as a nonprofit philanthropy expert, has helped organizations raise hundreds of millions in gifts. Gail Perry’s best-selling book, Fired-Up Fundraising: Turn Board Passion into Action (Wiley/AFP) has been called the “gold standard guide to building successful fundraising boards.”

As an internationally recognized presenter and facilitator, Gail has keynoted fundraising conferences in the US and abroad. She has inspired the boards of many organizations such as the CDC Foundation, San Diego Zoo Global, the Trust for Public Land, the US Olympic Committee, the ALS Society, Ronald McDonald International Charities, YMCA national leadership conferences, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and many more.

Gail Perry is a contributing author to Capital Campaigns: Strategies That Work – the #1 selling textbook and resource for capital campaigns. She has coached over 40 capital campaigns from LA to Maine, and has personally led 25 campaigns as staff or consultant, raising over $500 million.

Gail launched her fundraising career at Duke University and then went on to lead fundraising at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She's happy to be serving on boards of the AFP U.S. Foundation for Philanthropy, the North Carolina Botanical Garden, and the Friends of the Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In addition to Gail, with over 27 years of experience, Dr. Kathryn Gamble is a proven and successful major and planned gift fundraiser. She brings her analytical, strategic, practical and technical expertise in dealing with all aspects of advancement, fundraising and philanthropic management. Kathryn has held senior leadership positions at the North Carolina Museum of Art, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Saint Mary’s School and East Carolina University. Her doctoral research focused on nonprofit board governance, examining the effects of CEO power and multiple boards on governing board role fulfillment. She received her MBA from Queens University in Charlotte and completed her Ph.D. in Public Administration at North Carolina State University. In addition to her current position at Gail Perry Group, Kathryn regularly presents her research at the annual ARNOVA (Association of Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action) conference and teaches nonprofit governance and fundraising at Johns Hopkins as part of their adjunct faculty.
