Junior Achievement of the Triad is expanding its regional presence with a goal of providing programming to all K-12th grade students in a 5-county area. JA’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. The Vice President of Philanthropy leads the Philanthropy Team and secures required revenue and related resources to meet the business objectives of the organization and manages marketing and communications for the organization. This includes staff management ensuring that administrative processes are implemented. This position reports to the CEO and works collaboratively with the Director of Programming to increase and enhance awareness of the JA mission and its impact success through programming. This position may interface with the Board of Directors as needed.

The Vice President of Philanthropy cultivates/solicits/stewards donors of various sizes, matching their interests with the organization’s priorities. The ideal candidate has impeccable organizational skills, project management skills, the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships, experience soliciting philanthropic investments and managing a team. JA is looking for someone who can create meaningful engagement with key stakeholders through face-to-face solicitation and written proposals.

Full time position offering a pay range of $65,000 to $75,000 (salary will be commensurate with skill level and applicable experience). Full benefits package.

JA of the Triad currently maintains a hybrid work environment. Instead of reporting to their assigned workstation for all regular workdays, there are assigned in-office days with the option of remote work on the remaining days. Currently in-office days are Mondays and Thursdays. Staff are notified in advance of other in-person requirements such as special meetings and events. This position requires some evening hours for events.
