The NC Chapter Philanthropy Officer will lead all statewide fund development activities, including cultivating major gifts, implementing direct mail campaigns, submitting foundation requests, and educating donors about their planned giving options. The Chapter Philanthropy Officer will also be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and personally soliciting major gifts of $5,000 or more. In this role, he/she/they will cultivate and steward a consistent portfolio of donors through remote and in-person engagement, collaborating with members of Sierra Club’s national advancement team as needed.
