Winston Salem, NC
The Winston-Salem Symphony (WSS), a nationally respected 75-year-old professional regional orchestra, is seeking an exceptional fundraising leader for a new Major Gifts Officer (MGO) position. A pivotal senior leader on the philanthropy team, reporting to the Vice President, Revenue & Patron Relations Officer, the MGO will be responsible for developing and growing a new major gifts program that meets or exceeds contributed revenue goals by conducting lead gift prospect research, developing major gift donor solicitation strategies, and cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of existing and prospective major gift donors.
