DESCRIPTION:

Family Services seeks a motivated, intuitive, driven, and experienced fundraiser to join our team as Major Gifts Officer. This position plays a vital role by managing a portfolio of high-level gift prospects and donors supporting agency revenue goals. Reporting directly to the Director of Development, this position will identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain individuals to develop a moves management program that generates transformative gifts, making Family Services a top philanthropic priority for our supporters. This position additionally provides planned giving support for the Family Services Foundation. The Major Gifts Officer is a new role and will join the agency during an exciting time as we anticipate the public launch of a $10M capital campaign in support of building a new emergency domestic violence shelter in Forsyth County.
