Capital Campaign Manager

Updated: Aug 4

North Carolina Zoo Society, Asheboro, NC, Full Time

The Society, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit, is looking for an experienced and successful fundraiser/project manager to serve as its Capital Campaign Manager with the drive, passion, energy and vision to plan, implement and sustain all aspects of a robust capital campaign.

Though experience in the world of zoos or aquariums would be beneficial, it takes second place to the candidate’s fundraising and development accomplishments and the ability to lead with both head and heart. Great fundraisers and great managers share an ability to listen, empathize and put words into action. It will be no different for this position.

The Capital Campaign Manager must believe passionately in the Zoo’s master vision for its future and use that passion, experience and skills to build philanthropic partnerships in support of the Zoo.
