Assistant Director of Advancement Communications, Digital Philanthropy

Salary range: $54,985 - $56,909


Under the direction of the Senior Assistant Director of Digital Strategy, the Assistant Director of Advancement Communication for Digital Philanthropy will be responsible for planning and implementing a robust digital marketing strategy to increase the number of donors and dollars raised for UNCG each year.


This will be achieved by implementing a digitally focused Annual Giving plan built using industry research and best practices that complements the work being done across Advancement Communication channels.


Deliverables include managing and coordinating UNCG’s annual day of giving (Believe in the G), leveraging and stewarding crowdfunding opportunities with campus partners, and assisting in other digitally focused philanthropy efforts, including (but not limited to):


Building segmented email campaigns (copy, audience selection, design)


Devising social media fundraising strategies


Assisting in the implementation of an SMS-based philanthropy platform
